Mehadrin products from Israel

The following Kosher products from Israel, available in South Africa, have been classified as “Mehadrin” by the Johannesburg Beth Din, when bearing the hechsherim as indicated below:

• Osem & Nestle only with Badatz, OU and/or Rabbi Charlap. This includes Meat. Dairy products must be marked Cholov Yisroel.
• Telma only with Badatz.
• Carmel wines & grape juice. Irrespective whichever Hechsherim are printed on the label.
• Elite (incl. Bazooka gums) only with Badatz and/or OU. Dairy products must be marked Cholov Yisroel.
• Sadaf wafers with OU.
• Beit Hashita and Bnei Darom only with Badatz and/or OU.
• Wissotsky tea only with Badatz Mehadrin (Rav Rubin) and/or OU.

All other products bearing the Hechsherim of Badatz, Badatz Mehadrin (Rav Rubin), Rav Landa and / or She’eiris are mehadrin.
