The Kashrut Department wish to clarify our previous announcement regarding Banditos Salsa sent out on 15th of May 2006.

Up until recently, this product has been certified as kosher. However, this product contains spinach, and new developments in the checking and identification of insect infestation in spinach have necessitated that kosher certification be withdrawn, until such time as we can satisfy ourselves as to the cleaning and checking procedures of the spinach used in the Salsa.

All other Banditos products remain certified as kosher, and their manufacturing facility remains hygienic and free from any infestation of any kind.
