Cape Town Beth Din notification:

  • Wooden Spoon and Sunshine D margarines are currently available as both MILCHIK and PAREV. Although the tubs appear very similar, the Beth Din logo will specify which it is. Consumers are advised to check the logo carefully.
  • Barrys Health Bars are MILCHIK, and bear the Beth Din logo, although the word “milchik†does not appear. This will be rectified on future packaging.
  • SAFARI CRACKERMIX erroneously bears the Beth Din logo and is NOT KOSHER.

Johannesburg Beth Din Notification:

  • Pick ‘n Pay Foodhall Nut and Seed Bar is MILCHIK, and bears the Beth Din logo, although the word “milchik†does not appear. This will be rectified on future packaging.
  • Pick ‘n Pay Foodhall Japanese Mix erroneously bears the Beth Din logo and is NOT KOSHER.
