In November 2011 the Kashrut Department issued an alert regarding the Freshers range of products available at Fruit and Veg City, which bore an unauthorised Beth Din logo.

The problems have now been resolved, and a wide range of Freshers products are now manufactured under supervision, which bear the Beth Din logo.

Products include tinned/bottled vegetables, tea, spices, salt, salad dressings, sauces, oil, milk (long life and fresh), health bars, custards, cream, chutney and cereals.
