If a store is not listed on our website as a kosher establishment, when buying from there, make sure to check for reliable kosher logos on food products.

If you are unsure if the logo is reliable or not, send a picture to Kosher Desk on 063 693 9417 for confirmation.

Kosher Alerts Summary

Cadbury Snacker original and Snacker fruit bars are no longer kosher certified.

CaffeLuxe Hot Chocolate Capsules are erroneously labelled parev, they are in fact dairy.

Dairymaid Mega ice creams are incorrectly labelled parev, they are in fact dairy.

The following Future Life Whole Grain Granola Bars are erroneously labelled dairy, they are in fact parev.

  • Real Honey
  • Real Berries

Jungle Muesli, Cranberry & Yoghurt Clusters is erroneously labelled parev, this product is in fact dairy.

LifeBake grain free crackers, Chilli flavour, are erroneously labelled dairy, they are in fact parev.

Nestle Ricoffy with Cremora is erroneously labelled Parev, this product is in fact dairy.

PNP Instant oats 500g is kosher dairy, but the 750g is kosher parev. Though the correct Beth Din logo is printed, the front of the packaging is identical, and therefore this may cause confusion with current stock on the shelves. PNP is in the process of changing the packaging for the dairy oats, and this will be clear in the near future.

Safari Snack Mix something fruity is erroneously labelled Parev, this product is in fact dairy.

The Kitchen chocolate pudding is erroneously labelled parev, it is in fact dairy.

The Cape Town Beth Din has informed us that:

  • Cape Dried Fruit Packers Wasabi peanuts are erroneously labelled parev, they are in fact dairy.
  • Cape Dried Fruit Packers Bar Snack Mix is erroneously labelled parev, they are in fact dairy.
  • Goodness Me chocolate chips are erroneously labelled parev, they are in fact dairy.
