Cape Town Beth Din has informed us that Pesto Princess introduced a non-kosher ingredient into the factory that has unfortunately affected certain products. The following Pesto Princess products are therefore currently not kosher with or without a BD logo and should be discarded (if used, keilim do NOT need kashering):

• Tomato soup
• Butternut soup
• Sweet potato soup
• Red lentil soup
• Carrot soup
• Pea & pesto soup
• Butter chicken sauce
• Cape Malay sauce
• Tomato sauce

The company is working to find a possible alternative solution going forward and are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
