6 nectarines or plums
½ cup of fresh orange juice
¼ cup of sugar or castor sugar
1 cup of dry red wine

    Start Cooking

  1. Place all ingredients in a pot and boil until the plums or nectarines are soft but not mushy.
  2. Remove with a slotted spoon and place in a dish.
  3. Continue boiling the sauce until slightly thickened and reduced.
  4. Pour over the plums or nectarines.
  5. Chill until ready to serve
