This salad is a wonderful, fresh accompaniment to any main course. It can be served for dinner or lunch. The purple cabbage just adds a dash of colour to all the green vegetables. Delicious!


1 package of baby gem lettuce
1 package of romaine lettuce (or really any lettuce of your choice)
2 avos thinly sliced
2 small purple baby cabbages shredded
2 cucumbers
6 baby marrows thinly sliced and drizzled with a dash of olive oil and char grilled in a griddle pan

    Start Cooking

  1. Place all ingredients into a large platter or bowl. Dress the salad with the juice of 2 lemons and ½ cup of olive oil
  2. And 6 or 7 grinds of salt and pepper. Great for Pesach and during the year.
